Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

You cannot respond to people who message you here unless you are a paying member. I'm not ponying up for this place, so I guess I'm unreachable. I am not tall. I am not dark. But I'm very patient, calm and relatively outgoing with a witty personality and a confident demeanor. Atlas Obscura is my travel guide. I do have a somewhat dry/dark sense of humor. I love animals, especially cats (I have 2 cats now). I also love music (I do a weekly radio program, currently in it's 33rd year!!) and have a very large music collection. I much prefer a record or a CD to a TV show. I love to travel and find it one of the best ways to spend money and create memories. I have a lot more to see of this world after this pandemic ends. I am blissfully baggage free! I am a homeowner with 2 acres of peace and quiet and am totally financially stable, meaning that I earn more than I spend and I have a nice retirement plan.

I'm very independent and wish the same for everybody else. In terms of religion, I define myself as "provisionally Agnostic", meaning that I'm not a follower of any deity but cannot say "there is no God". One of my favorite humans is Bill Nye, who said it best: "everybody you ever met or will ever meet in your life knows something you don't". I made it this far in life with the knowledge that there is more than one way to accomplish any given task.

-I do not have or participate on any social media platforms (not for any high falootin' reason, it's just not my bag)
-I worked for 21 years in the corporate event production business until the company I worked for was bought out and my job was deemed "redundant". Now I work for a very much recognized non-profit.
-I consider myself to be a good cook (lately I've been working off the Covid belly pad via the smoothie route).
-I rarely drink. Maybe a few beers a month or a dram or my favorite scotch.
-I'm full of wonder, but I will never leave you "wondering" or leave you hanging, or ghost you. I also don't like to be left wondering or left hanging or ghosted.
-Dependable to a fault, I will go out of my way for a simple smile and am very giving
-Sudden spontaneous happiness from the simple things is engraved into my spirit
